I just found 1 small white bug on my royal, can't seen to find anymore in the viv. Was this a mite that I saw? I was under the impression that they are black. If it is a mite, what is the best thing to use to get rid of them? As well as stripping viv and cleaning all hides and things?

The bug u found is harmless. There are wood bugs. They come in ur aspen chippings..first time I see them wasin my corns tanks and did what u did. Ill see if I can find it on the corn site and you can rread about them but they are harmless |

Mites are generally dark in colour, no idea what that bug you found could be. |

I'm no expert but I thought mites were black.
I had white bugs once but turned out they were innocent and harmless and came from the wood/bark substrate I was using.
I'm sure someone will confirm this??? |
