I just found 1 small white bug on my royal, can't seen to find anymore in the viv. Was this a mite that I saw? I was under the impression that they are black. If it is a mite, what is the best thing to use to get rid of them? As well as stripping viv and cleaning all hides and things?

Thanks

The bug u found is harmless. There are wood bugs. They come in ur aspen chippings..first time I see them wasin my corns tanks and did what u did. Ill see if I can find it on the corn site and you can rread about them but they are harmless

Mites are generally dark in colour, no idea what that bug you found could be.

I'm no expert but I thought mites were black.

I had white bugs once but turned out they were innocent and harmless and came from the wood/bark substrate I was using.

I'm sure someone will confirm this???
