Does any one else find it really annoying when you have a snake ie:my cb13 Bino. That will happily take the food, coil, squeeze the wootsits out of it then slither off happy as larry looking very proud of himself. Hold on mate!!!! arnt you forgetting something???? Thats 3 weeks now in a row, wouldn't mind but before that he was a brilliant feeder (bought at Kempton and fed every week upto 3 weeks ago without issue). Not worried just frustrated at the little 150g guy lol

Rant over......looks like I will be changing approach with him next time.

The other thing you might have tried is to leave him a couple of weeks and then try, I have a Male Mojave (2kg) who will strike and coil whenever anything goes in his viv but will only eat if he Is really hungry :)

It's ok he took tonight a larger than normal offering I had kicking around.

I butted it on his nose and he decided to have it this time.

I have a male like this
Try and offer it a smaller than usual feed
And see if that helps

My oldest male Pastel has always done this, have you tried reheating it straight away and re offering it, this sometimes works for me.
what was his weight and when was Kempton when you bought him?

I have a female het piebald at the moment that has taken me the best part of 3 years to get near breeding weight despite the fact I don't think she's ever refused to strike a rat, depiste that after striking and constricting we normally give her a 40% chance to actually eat it!

You should stop taking him to watch Thor on TV. Now he has this hero complex where he has to save the world from the big bad rat....
