Hi. Im just curious really ive had my royal since 20th jan. He weighed 205g today he weighs 199g. He hasnt fed since ive had him. He last ate the day I got him.
Someone mentioned leaving the mouse in over night. I left it for an hour or so as there seemed to be blood or something seeping out of it, is this normal?

I also think hel be shedding soon as hes had his blue phase an now his belly is dry and wrinkley..

My first Royal was an ex-rescue and she was with me nearly 3 months before she ate.
My next two I had from just a few weeks old and both have fed every single week since then without fail.
All snakes are different so I wouldn't worry about just a couple of weeks.
Oh and I don't think shedding will stop him - all 3 of mine will still strike feed just before, during or just after shedding.

When we got ours he went 6 weeks without eating, nothing major to worry about.

Most likely still settling in,Some can eat on the first day. Some take after a week,Others can take longer to eat etc.It really hasn't been that long since you got him,so i wouldn't worry yet :)

The weight difference could be explained,if he was weighed before going to the toilet.Being about to shed won't help either. So i'd try feeding again after he's shed and see what happens.
