Im getting my very first python soon and im sooo excited I have my cornsnake Dave and hes placid and eats beautifully the thing I'm concerned most about I guess it's that royals appear to be fussy eaters I just want it to be happy are they all like this? I'm hoping to get one a few months old and I can't wait x

Same with my female spider eats every time:) but I have a normal male who hasn't eaten since Xmas day and he has only lost about 10 grams.

Some fast and others dont for example my male bumblebee fasts like clockwork he will always go off food around November time and start eating again mid February then there is my pastel sometimes he will eat 4/5 weeks on the bounce then stop for a month he is an inconsistent feeder but he does eat and never looses weight :) and then there is some like my female spider she eats like theres no tomorrow eats every week without fail so they are all completely different some eat every meal others like to have a break every so often but it really is nothing to worry about alsong as they dont loose any major weight :)

they tend to fast during the winter/breeding season but most of the time they loose very little weight during this time although it can be a worry the first time.
look forward to some pic's when you get a new addition
