Title says it all really. I've a 2.5' x 1.5' x 1.5' viv but there are no ventilation holes. The snake is in a tub inside it which has holes and the door of the viv is open, but when it's transferred to the viv should I have some holes drilled into it?

Yea, in my head it's going to go great. The reality might not be the same. Here's hoping.

Cheers for the advice. It's all taken on board. I'll take some pics tomorrow and then hopefully the feed will go well on Saturday.

I light all my vivs, but it's really upto you :) setup looks fine so far,and hope he eats for ya :)

Do you think that a clear day/night cycle is better? If so I've a timer I could use for that.

She hasn't eaten yet. Due a feed on Saturday, but apparently feeds really well. She has been fed in the faunarium so I'm planning on keeping her in there until after the feed + 2 days at least.

Will transfer to the viv once I've got more foliage etc. in there. Want her to feel secure and not too exposed.

Can leave it on in the days if you wish, will give him a clear day/night cycle.Has he eaten yet? and when you going to put him in the viv?

200g and longer than the sum of the length and breadth of the tub (or whatever it is - faunarium??) inside the viv. I'm getting more plants etc at the weekend. There's a UV strip there but it's not going to be used much. It'll be lit mostly by natural / room light-bulb light, but the UV is there if I need a quick look-see.

No worries :P I'd add more plants and stuff to the viv too :) what lights you using to light it? and how big is this royal?

That's what I thought at first. Scale can be deceptive. I only know cos i got a measuring tape and measured it.

Having a quick look online, the door sliders look a lot like those of a Vivexotic vivarium which apparently has a nifty ventilation system on it.
