Posted - 11/05/2014 : 20:54:03 Hi all my little guy monty is about 3 years old now and for the first time has been fasting the last 5 months! this however hasnt concerened me to much as im well aware this is normal behaviour for royals. However the other day I went to get him out and his nose was very white looking and his eye caps seemed as if they were peeling! There is no sign he is going into blue or has mites and he doesnt have retained eye caps as when he last shed about four months ago I always check the skin and he shed his eyecaps ok.Is it possible he could just be dehyrated with the weather warming up? and if so what if anything can I do to help the little guy? |

I usually fill his water bowl to the top (it's the biggest dog bowl size)with fresh water and this seems to up the humidity slightly. His eye returns to normal shortly after. That and he has a drink. Weird though because it's always the same eye. |
