Posted - 15/02/2015 : 10:39:27 Any weather buffs out there? Honey and Pretzel have never (to my knowledge) soaked themselves before shedding and have managed the process just fine. Last week Honey was draped across her water bowl and shed a day or two later. This morning Pretzel is doing just the same and his colouring is typically pre-shed, so I assume he'll shed in the next day or two. My question is, could this behaviour be a result of the high pressure system that we've been enjoying recently? Has this resulted in low humidity? Or are the snakes sensitive to air pressure itself?(Possibly a radical idea!)
