was a bit nervous that he wouldnt eat it as it was his first time with a rat

what i do sometimes, is to get a bowl of very hot water and then sit a smaller bowl in the water with the rat in and then cover the bowl, i do three minutes, add more hot water, turn the rat over for another three and then feed...

result one very warm rat

BE what do u use to heat em up, i have tried sarnie bag in hot water for ten mins tht leaves em vaguely warm
but they defo cool fast.. n i dont possess a hair dryer so cant give the head a blast.. i have seen on reptile keeper he uses some sorta electric repti heater to heat up the gekkos some of his venemous snakes feed on.. could defo do with one of those or something similar.

Congrats, getting onto rats will really help

I usually super heat the rats head so that the snake knows which end to aim for.
