My royal is either hungry or greedy. He had a small mouse and a rat pup two days ago and every time I go near his faunarium he shoots out of his hide and toward the glass, looking for food. I'm more than happy for him to be greedy, just not hungry. Last weight was 90g but that wasn't empty. His last meal weighed about 12 - 13g.

Its good when they feed, my female seems to actually chase her food across her viv (only at Royal speed thank god) but very very keen. My male is a different kettle of fish though, he actually hides.

Can be a mixture of the two, him being greedy AND curious

Thanks. i am happy with his nature and feeding prowess, just wanted to make sure I wasn't under feeding the little guy
