As title says really.

Local shop doesn't sell 12ltr RUB and he has outgrown 9ltr. You reckon he'll be ok in an 18ltr RUB if I pack it out with hides, big water bowl and plants?

His size is a little more than the L+W of 9ltr RUB.

Cheers.

Cheers Dazb. Just needed reassurance that it wasn't wrong to put in so many. Just spent £40 on new hides, water bowl and plants!

Cool. He's just doing so well in his current faun, which has loads of ventilation, I just want to keep it similar.

There really isn't enough air flow if you don't and the humidity can get ridiculous.

I have 18ltr tubs for my 09s, the only holes I put in were where the dimples are, and I did opposite corners.
Blackecho Posted - 18/07/2009 : 18:50:55
Should be ok.

So... do you think I've gone OTT with the holes i'm planning on putting in? Its because his current faun has loads of ventilation. Holes are not going to be that big BTW.

Bought the 18ltr RUB. Can someone who has set one up before just check these pics. I have marked on where I plan to put the ventilation holes. I've tried to keep it similar to my faunarium, which is pretty much open at the top and along the top of the sides, with loads of ventilation.

Thanks

Lee

Yes 18L should be fine (very little difference between 12L and 18L).

I think he will be ok...
