helllo every one after some help please with vivarium questions,i started off with a corn snake which i have had now for over a year so im looking in to getting another snake possibly royal python,i have started to build a home for it out of malamine the viv is 37"L x 16.5" wide and 16.5h would this be fine for a male royal python?

go mad get all the stuff you need for both and get 2. and as WS said have all set up and temps established first allowing you the tweaking time needed. good luck with your decision..

True that, get a wee one, theyre gorgeous! But as BE said, get your RUB set up first and all your temps right etc before getting one and youll minimise feeding issues etc

whatever you do make sure it is all set up and stats and temps are correct before you bring home your royal..

you dont want to make problems occur when there is no need

hummm been having a long think tonight tempted to go with a baby royal and watch him grow,will give me time to get all the stuff needed for the large viv,will have a ride out tomorrow and see if they have some young instock

although they are on b&q website some of the smaller ones don't stock it. i have got them from from ebay a couple of times from a seller called Yealas or something like that very quick and reasonable. good luck with build post up some pics when finished. I hav built 3 over the last couple of months. all sitting empty at the minute but they are there if i ever need them.LOL

Some reptile shops sell them but they are cheaper on ebay.

hi and many thx for the fast reply yes it will be a fully grown snake,off to see some tomorrow and pickup some stuff for the viv to get it ready for him,does b&q sell the glass runners for vivs i have seen them on ebay so will order from there is no where local sells them

Hi Paul, yes, that would be sufficient for an adult (but too big for a hatchling).
