Posted - 03/08/2009 : 18:50:21 Hi I got up this morning to find slash having a soak in his water bowl, 1st time I seen him do this. Anyway, when i changed his water after he had got out, I found 2 black bits in his water, not even sure they were bugs, but they were like a black shell about 2mm in size & had shiny white/silver on the underside. Now if these were mites of that size surely I would notice them crawling on him when I handled him last night? I might just be being a paranoid new parent, what you think? |

Posted - 03/08/2009 : 18:57:01 Sounds like hes got snake mites. They dont crawl they just sit their sucking blood so unless you look carefully you might not have noticed. |
