Posted - 04/08/2009 : 22:03:20 Hi guys, I bought my royal python as a fussy eater (yes i know stupid for a first snake but I wanted to give it a loving home).
After much agro trying to get him to eat mice, rats and gerbils our friend sugested we try chicks (yellow fluffy ones with the head and legs snapped off) which he takes straight away.
My question is it ok to feed just chicks, will he get enough from it?
He shows interest in other food but won't do more than hover over it. |

Ok this is what i thought. I would like to see the chick jackets :o)
From what I have read they are supposed to sniff out the brain right? So why is mine taking chicks with the heads snaped off? Do you think it is the blood mine is looking for?
Have you tried him with multis?
Probably a dumb question but what is multis? |
