I am about to get a royal python, it will be my 1st. The one thing worrying me is the heating. What would you advice as the ideal set up?

As matty said depends on age of the royal. Make sure you get the set up right before getting the royal to avoid problems.

How old a snake will you be getting? If its a small young snake, use a plstic tub and a heat mat. If its an older, bigger snake, a 3ft viv and a bulb.
