OK so I have now got a pulse stat to run with my heat mat. What temp should I set it to so it gives the right temp in the viv?

PP are fine, its Dimmers that have the high minimum loads.

Just worth checking

microclimate pp stats have a minimum of 5 watts and habistat do not state a mimimum wattage for pp stats

IIRC = If I Remember Correctly

Pretty sure (without looking at my pulse stats at home) that mine are 40W min

HI karl.
Thanks for that I will check that when I get in. I was told to get one coz they are better than the normal thermostat.
Oh and what does IIRC mean?

Thanks Ant I think the thermometer is reading 87 so I will turn it up slightly.

I think its a case of just adjusting it until its the right temp in the viv. I have a digital thermometer thats tied to my stat probe (small cable tie) so when the thermometer is reading 88-90F i know that whatever the stat is set to is the temp on the dial i need .... if that makes sense, lol

Dont ask me what its set to on the stat dial .. its covered over with a sock because i cant stand the flashing light when im trying to sleep, lol
