Hi all, hera shed today but about a centimetre of shed remains on the tip of the tail.
I have never had this problem before with montiiee, as all i ever had was a retained eye cap which i managed to sort out.
However i bathed hera for a while and let her slither through a damp flannel, to see if this would help, but it will not budge.
She was due a feed yesterday, so don't want to leave it too long before feeding her, but think i would definately be better off concentrating on getting the shed off first.
What would you guys advise for this situation?

Had tried that......it was only a tiny piece and would not budge. All gone now though thanks to damp kitchen towel, but thanks anyway.

Thank you, it worked a treat. Shed is off, and she took a feed straight after.
Poor little darling must have been hungry.
