a friend of mine has got a 3 month old cornsnake.
unfortunately, he does not have any idea how it happened, the cornsnake ended up getting duck tape stuck to her.
It is only a little bit, but he cant get it off, he has used warm water but he cant get it off without ripping it off, and he wont do that cause it would harm the snake.
any suggestions????

the issue with that is if it is still tacky the snake could do its self more harm. sticky to it self or things in viv. Olive oil and BE suggested also the warm water. the heat and moisture helps break down the glue compound on the tape, he should be able to gently roll it of then. wish him luck.

PS. he must have tape some where in the viv. holding wires down or taping heat mat to the floor. he should get rid of it so it doesn't happen again on him.

I've been told to use the alcohol hand gel you use to 'wash' your hands between snakes. Luckily never had to put it into practice.
