Dont worry about the shedding, as long as you do what ya need to do then all will be fine. Any pictures of your set up would be helpful.
cheers

Posted - 28/09/2009 : 13:06:47 ok thanks i shall go do that now its not a bad sign tho is it i get the impression he must be at least slightly comfortable to start shedding as im pretty sure he had not started when i got him or would you be a little bit concerned |

Posted - 28/09/2009 : 13:03:03 hi,you only want to mist it lightly as the humidity could cause a respritory infection, best bet is to put a tub in with some damp spag moss in or give him a bath in water around 88 degress and about as deep as his body and then run him through a towelif it dont come off,if you can find the head piece of skin check to see if the eye caps are on the shed. |

hi, congrats on your new snake.
Chances are he was already in shed...did he shed complete?
no he shed in pices roughly 6 inches but i read they can be quite distressed whilst shedding think he still has a litlle left to go but i just left him under his rock and misted his tank thoroughly |
