Posted - 04/10/2009 : 23:18:36 i just looked at your DIY for building the two foot vivarium for the glass/perspex doors what size of each panel did you get, i am trying to get two pieces of glass that meet in the middle so that the vivarium lock can go in the middle. what size panels would you recommend for 2 ft tanks. if i want it in the middle do i need around 1ft long each panel??? |

Posted - 05/10/2009 : 19:31:06 yeah as above . with out the overlap you cant lock when i ordered my glass i gave measurements allowing for 2inc overlap. don't forget as well that you need an extra centimeter in glass height to allow for the groves in slide rail. sorry seen post last night but didn't want to answer as it was for BE. felt like i was opening someone else's mail.LOL |

as GP says, you should have some amount of overlap though. |

Posted - 05/10/2009 : 11:03:01 don't you need an overlap in the middle for a conventional viv lock? |
