Checked the brood this morning - all was well, but Phyllisss had tried to shed in the night and it was quite unsuccessful.

I was then challenged with the task of assist shedding the snake from hell who will strike at you for just looking at her!!!

Anyway, got her out of the rub, without much fuss put her in a bath, no probs - but then the drama started.

She decides to strike at the tissue I was using to help soak her and at me and then at my other half for just walking past during the event.
I managed to get her out of the bath and began removing the skin whilst dodging the strikes, but I wasn't getting anywhere fast.
I had to cover her head in the end, which did help so the skin could be removed, but she was still striking from under the towel!!

After about 45 minutes, being wee'd and poo'd on, I eventually finished and the moment of truth arrived where I had to unveil the towel to return her to her rub.
She struck at me a further three times, but I was fortunate enough to have escaped without injury.

I did think she was settling down, as she has been quite quiet when we have been looking at her - but I take it all back now!! Lol!!
