Just a rough guide will do,
Thanks

Not that I have an awful lot of experience as I only have the one snake and I've not had him long, but I think you just sort of *know* when the smaller tub is too small. I moved my baby over from a large tupperware tub to a 42l RUB the other week at about 3 months old. He was quite active in the small tub and it just seemed too limiting for him. I fed him a day after I put him in the new RUB and he took it fine.
He's loving the extra space now and I often find him exploring. I've kept a lot of cover in there with hides and a big fake ivy vine, which helps him feel secure.

one of mine is a couple of months as well Possible 4months and is in a 9l and could quite happily stay there for a couple of months yet.

i know me, BE and dazb all have royals of a similar age and they vary hugely in weight/size........sorry i can't be more helpful!

agree with Ali...

i have a 3 month old and she is in a 9l rub, will keep her in there for a while longer yet..

i think when they are younger they tend to like the smaller places that we think are to small...

much easier to move some of them when they are older..

depends how well it feeds and so how fast it grows........and if you move it into a bigger enclosure there's the potential that it might stress and not feed so you might end up putting it back in the 9L for a while...
as a guide to enclosure size:
length of enclosure + depth of enclose = maximum length of snake

although Royals can buck this trend!
