i was just wondering if i really need a light for my royals viv when he gets older?
i know that it should be red and that ill need a cage to put around it but if they dont need one in a faunarium why do they need one when they are older?

Those are good prices, I think I paid £6 for a light fitting and £20 for a guard. I know who I'll be coming to when Feather's big enough for a viv!

bulb guards 17x10x10 are £13 delivered for a standard type or £15 for a deluxe opening type in a choice of colours.

If your using a bulb, you dont need a mat. Its better to use bulb heating rather than mats for heavier bodied aminals to prevent thermal blocking.
ookami Posted - 13/10/2009 : 16:08:51
so do i still need a heatmat?
Blackecho Posted - 13/10/2009 : 16:07:38
Only for heat.
