can anyone help just about to put my royal in new viv just need to know which is the best way to heat the viv,so many people i ask say different things i was going for a pulse proportional day and night thermostat with a ceramic bulb guard,then some say just a heat mat will do please help the viv is going to be on show to look good

As Piers says no need to drop temps at night...

some breeders do in the breeding season but thats it...

I wouldn't use a mat in a viv, either a ceramic or an IR bulb. I also don't bother with night drops in temp, so I wouldn't pay the extra for a day/night stat.
