why dont you ask Reptiles Ink on here for the guard and the cable and ceramic fitting...

that will save you money and the quality of the guards is terrific, plus they are hinged so makes it far far easier to change when the bulb goes..

Also Piers got a stat for i £35 i think online, maybe he can tell you the website..

ok would this be correct for heating hobbes, and a reasonable price,

errhmm..

zoo med-dimmable 22cm clamp
clamp cover
60watt ceramic blulb#
microclimate pp stat
plus hydrometer and 2 thermometers

for 80.46 + 8 quid postage 1-3 days.

better than the local which charges 95 for the stat clamp and bulb,so with thermometers and such would be lookin at 100 :S

Bulb - £12 on ebay
Bulb guard - £15 from a decent priced shop
PP Stat - £35 on the net.

A ceramic bulb holder and 2ft of heat proof cable wont cost more than a tenner. Reptiles-ink on here can help you out with some/all of this kit.
