I bought my Royal Python earlier today and I was told to keep handling to a minimum as it's just a baby, (7 months), and I was wondering (forgive me if it sounds silly) how much is minimum? 5 or 10 minutes a day?

first off read this........... http://www.theroyalpython.co.uk/forum/topic.asp?ARCHIVE=true&TOPIC_ID=1716

royals generally get stressed if handled a lot and this is frequently shown as going off their food, they're not a species that tolerates a lot of handling although some individuals will cope better than others

for the first 7days dont handle and then after that dont handle until it has been 48hrs after its first feed with you. then maybe handle 5-10 mins a couple of days a week.
