what do you guys use for lighting the viv during the day i have a heat mat and the viv wont get much sunlight so i'd like a dim light in it

its not the heat that would be the problem with a strip light its the flickering.......best avoided.

an energy saving bulb (still guarded) is the best option really

ah yeah thats not a bad idea . i did think about using a 8" strip light that i have from a old fish tank but thought it might get too hot?
