hey guys i heard about people passing on food if they have 2 or more snakes.
If one snake doesnt eat their food then they give it another snake instead.
I was just wondering if this was ok on top of what the other snake itself eats.
Wouldnt the snake be eating more than it should...

Just curious

I feed like this now my 09 is eating the same prey size as my 07 (07 is a fussy git and 09 is a dustbin)
The only time a made a 'mistake' with my timing i gave my 09 a rat i mistakenly defrosted three days after he ate ... he was more than happy to eat it and apart from he seemed to roll everywhere for a few days because he was so full it didnt do him any harm

i stagger when i feed mine........it might mean something gets fed a day or two early if i give it 'leftovers' but i'll then adjust their feeding schedule accordingly

in the wild they're opportunist feeders - they'll take a meal when it comes their way, it could be a few days since their last feed or a month or two. a feeding 'routine' is mainly for our own benefit rather than the snakes
