Hi all, the last few weeks the rat weaners I've fed with have had broken feet, with the bone broken and exposed. It seems really sharp. I pushed the feet back on to cover them but am concerned it might do him damage when he's digesting it or when he's eating it. How worried should I be? I think in the future if the bone is exposed I'll file it down to blunt it. What are your opinions / ideas?

AS long as your snake eats it head first he wont feel a thing no matter how sharp it is, if he for some reason eats it any other way you might get some problems, but i wouldnt worry too much.

If its sharp or jagged I would cut the limb off and throw it away.

I wouldn't bother at all, in fact in the past I have broken a rat's leg off on purpose whilst frozen to give my corn a treat.
