Hey everyone, I need to ask how long does it take for a baby ball python to poo, just a bit worried as hes had a mouse last week on wedsday and feed him yesteraday two and he still hasnt pooed at all just thinking I had him on aspen for a few days dont know if he has impaction or not?
this may sound stupid but rather be safe than sorry. |

mine all depend on how often tere are fed and normally go every 6-8 weeks after about 4 feeds but i have one that only eats twice a month but poohs every week,but i wouldnt worry at all i agree with all above comments x |

The white stuff isnt poo, its a solid ball of Urate, basically all the chemicals of pee but without the excess water.

both my royals go every 7 to 10 days or so? 1 poos white and 1 poos brown |

Aye my Sal only ever poos after she sheds, which is every 6-10 weeks.

that most be good luck. lol it can be anything from a week to several weeks so don't panic. snakes digest almost everything from the mouse apart from the fur so there is not a lot to poo out after each feed. |

My adult royal has a poo about every 6 weeks when she's eating, and my baby boa's not much different.
Maybe this should be a sticky, it seems to get asked a lot. |

bah, Stig hasn't been since October ish, saying that he hasn't eaten since then either......
Don't worry until it's over 2 months (if the snake is eating regularly) |

mine are 18m old though so for younger ones its probably slightly less

my royals tend to poop every 5- 7 weeks usually..
royals take their time pooping so nothing to worry about |
