Hi . it it possible for the parts of next layer down to come off as well. it can happen, just if that wee bit of skin is still attached and requires a bit more effort to remove. I have noticed this before and it has soon sorted itself out. after the next shed all should be back to normal.

my first shed was pretty bad but after the usual tips to help them shed, i didnt have any retained shed.

the second shed was perfect ;)

righty ho i have just looked at pringles and his shed again.

on closer inspection i cant see the same patch of missing skin on his head to his shed skin. now is it possibles that he has lifted the next layer of skin when he shedded.

if this is possible is it a problem or will it sort its self out at his next shed?

Leave it be, it will get rid of it itself.
Make sure it has a moist area or a moss box and just keep an eye on it. Few days and it will all be off. Keep removing shed as you see it and you'll see it will all go over a day or two
