The bulbs are the same fitting size im sure, but they'll cost you a fortune from 888, youd be much better off getting it all from ebay...

I would prefer to buy this stuff from www.888reptiles.co.uk

But the bulbs dont have fitting sizes and stuff like that on everything so if you have spare time could someone pop on there and have a look, thanks

No problem at all, I linked you to a 100w ceramic but as BE says you'd probably be better with a higher wattage one, if you decide to go with ceramic. This is because the higher the wattage, the less work it has to do to give you the same amount of heat, therefore the longer it will last. Just type 250W ceramic into ebay :-)

Its cool, an IR bulb means Infra Red. Heres some links:

If you want to use the IR bulb you will need:

If you want to use ceramic bulb then you will need:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Geko-Reptile-100W-Ceramic-Heat-Emitter-Bulb-White_W0QQitemZ180485094127QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Pet_Supplies_Reptiles_Spiders_Insects?hash=item2a05bffaef

With either of them you will also need to get a bulb guard as the bulbs get very hot and far too many snakes get burned. Id recommend contacting ther user "reptilesink" on this forum as he makes up very high quality bulb guards to order and is cheaper than anywhere else online or in shops. When installing the light into the viv you should affix it to the roof over to one side of the viv so it creates a gradient of heat in the viv. You should also get two of these: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/New-Aquarium-LCD-Digital-Thermometer-Fish-Tank-Water_W0QQitemZ230452734834QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Pet_Supplies_Fish?hash=item35a80dab72 which is one to monitor the temps at each end. The dial thermometers you can get are useless and can be as much as 10 degrees out!!

Hope this helps, feel free to ask any more questions :-)

What does IR mean? and a link to a everything i need would be good or list as im quite new to all this.

Its just preference. If you get an IR heat bulb then you wont need a light to view your snake, but the light you do have will be red. If you use a ceramic then you can put in an additional light for viewing whih can be any colour. If you use an IR bulb then you will need a dimmer thermostat, if you use a ceramic bulb you will need either a dimmer or pulse thermostat.

Hope this helps
