mischang just make sure you really keep on top of your water changes if using repto boost or such additives as the active ingredients in them start will start to grow if water is left to long especially if under a heat source or in direct sunlight.

will leave her on bottled water cos the water is really hard around here,it can re-scale a kettle in a week! lol!

Not sure it 'should' be left, but can't do any harm and will de-chlorinate it.

Tap water for me too, its fine (although I do leave it in a jug overnight to de-chlorinate).

i just use tap water myself and have seen no ill effects. but i guess this could vary from area to area as water quality is different all across the UK.

ok thanks, was gonna keep her on bottled anyway cos can see why u would use it, but tend to question what the pet shop told me.

It is cos tap water has chemical additives added to make it potable where as bottled doesnt.

I think its down to personal preference, some us tap, some use bottled and some use tap water thats been left overnite.
