What size viv should i be getting for a 3 month old CB I know that it isn't a good idea to get a large viv for a young snake but want a compromise as I I don't want to have to be buying another viv in a short period of time as it grows.

Suggestions on recommended vivs/manufacturers are also welcome.

Many thanks.

Roly

if u really wanted to put him in a viv there are 2 things u can

1. u can buy a 2ft vivarium for him, slighly large but if u pack it out it will be fine

2. buy a 3ft vivarium, then put a divider up, so put it up half way, that way u don't have any spear vivs around, and have bought him a viv that he will always go in

its up to you, if u maybe plan to get another snake in future then 1 would sound better as then u have a spear 2ft viv
but if u do not plan to ever get another snake then 2 sounds better

I went to Staples and bought a 9lt Really Useful Box RUB cost about £6 sometimes they have buy one get one half price, so you could get one for now, then another for 6-9 months time for when its abit bigger. Then go for a viv when fully grown.

I'm pretty new to royals myself but I'm sure someone on here with more knowledge will be along soon to help you out.
