Hi there I was just wondering when is the best time to weigh your royal, is it just after they've pooped or the day before feeding like I've been doing.
Only asking as today for the first time Nelson pooped, when I was taking him to a local reptile shop for them to check him over.
I have only cleaned up a chalky white substance so far, believe its urate. Is it strange that he's only done this once as I've had him nearly 3 weeks now, he's only took 3 feeds if thats any help. Gonna try feeding again on Saturday. |

Thanks for the replies, gonna weigh in the morning, I've been weighing day before every feed cos little one was quite small, but he's put on 11g in the 3 weeks since he came here. That's with the first 2 feeds assisted and 1 strike last week but didn't want to know on monday so will try again on friday or saturday. I've been leaving 4/5 days between feed hope thats right. He was supposed to be 16 weeks when I got him. |

I always weigh after they`ve pooped. |

I weigh just before feeding with my little one, the big ones get weighed monthly. |

hiya hun, I tend to weigh sheba about every 3/4 weeks, but if he has just gone for you, i would weigh him before you feed him. you would have a more accurate weight of him then. |
