Posted - 02/09/2010 : 11:59:27 Me and the other half where out shopping for the reps last night, we got cecil a bigger rub and a few new bits, whilst in pets at home i found a bigger VERY heavy granite water bowl, which i thought was perfect as it was soo heavy and i think it will cure the "mummy iv tipped the water bowl over again" problem.. but im not left with a problem, the sticker in the middle of the bowl was huge and when i went to disinfect it the sticker wouldnt come off, it just left the lovely white bits once ripped off, i did every thing, scrubbed, used knifes but i cannot get rid of the sticky residue the sticker has left :( i tried fairy liquid and rep disinfect, i didnt wnna use anything else incase it left traces n poisoned cecil, does anyone know anything i could use to get it off? once water is in it the stickyness goes so he cant get stuck to, but im more worried about the chemicals in the glue... i have not put it in yet, wanna wait until i know i can get the stuff off or if its safe to do so with it still on there. |

Posted - 02/09/2010 : 12:03:57 Meths or something like that should help, just rinse thoroughly after.
I have put mine through the dishwasher a couple of times to get rid of labels in the past. |
