tried Willow with her first feed with us today and she took it after only 5 mins or wiggling she wrapped sooooo tight round it that the wee mousey had blood dripping from eyes and nose but im soooooooo prud that she ate having only been here since friday

Welcome and good stuff on the successful feed. Royals do hit hard....my little one hit much harder than my adult Corn. They also seem to want to make sure the prey is extra dead before eating. Mine will sometimes constrict for up to 10 minutes.
