Can anyone help please?

My first attempt to feeding Amazonne was not successful.

My question is; how long can I keep a defrosted Rat Pup (RP) before throwing it away and attempting to feed with a new defrosted RP.

Amazonne is a female normal Royal Python born July 2010 I purchased her two weeks ago. Her records shows that she has been eating every 5/10 days. There are no signs that she is about to shed.

Thanking you all in advance

I wouldn't try offering more often than every 5 days.

i would say a day max for sure, soon as it defrosts it all start to brake down from inside

as for feeding i think it depends on how long you let him settle in, if you handled him quite often at first i would now leave him alone for a week and only do spot clean and water change. then try him again :)

i would probably say that you could only really keep a defrosted rat pup out for a day, so if u defrosted it on saturday then it would last till sunday max, and if he refused his food leave it another couple of days and then try again
