                | wiseman94 | Posted - 06/12/2010 : 10:27:52 I have had my Royal for about 3 months and he has somehow got mites. Having done some research i am going to bathe him to drown the mites and treat the viv with Ardap spray.
 My question is....
How do i go about bathing him? Is it best to use a rub or the bath? Would a water temperature of about 32C be ok? How long does he need to stay in the water?
 Thanks for you help

32C is perfect for the water temp, personally, I'd add a few drops of olive oil too to help suffocate the mites. Somewhere around 20 mins should be fine.

I know this is predominantly about Frontline, but there is a bit on bathing in here: http://www.theroyalpython.co.uk/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=1320
