I've just received my Microclimate B1 ME Stat. I tried it and everything seems to be fine apart one thing. When I adjust my stat to the day time mode (fully clockwise - 5 o'clock) according to the manual it should permanently go into a day time operation however when i switch my light off the red LED indicates the night time mode. It looks like there is no day time mode then. Is that normal? I know it shouldn't bother me because I can adjust a night time temperature drop to 0 but I just wanted to know.

Thanks a lot for answer - it means that my new stat is working as it should.

The ME (magic eye) is a sensor that detects light. there is a dial at the bottom of the thermostat that determines the sensitivity of the ME sensor. If the dial is turned fully it will make it much easier to pick up any light therefore staying in day time mode when the light is dim. However it still needs to be able to pick up some light so if the room is dark it will go into night mode. hope this helps.
