Hey I got both my ceramic heat stat probe and my digital thermometer probe on bottom of viv under the substrate with the warm hide in top is this correct??

The probe needs to be above the substrate and needs direct line of sight to your ceramic bulbs directly underneath. The reading at the surface will be hotter than a reading taken under substrate so it won't be accurately regulating the max temperature.
