picked up monty this morning, he came with a viv and heat mat which was unstatted. i have just fitted a heat bulb with dimming stat. the viv is 24 inches high. where should the stat probe be placed. monty spends quite a bit of time climbing his branches near the top of the viv. with the probe on the ground reading 30 degrees obviously its alot hotter higher up. where should we put the probe.

if its at 30 degrees could be a bit hotter, ideally around 32-33 at the hot end

thats wher it is at the moment, was just a bit worried that it would be alot hotter higher up. the bulb gaurd is quite hot as well. maybe need a bigger one.
