my young royal monty is shedding for first time i had him and when i pick him he hisses at me so i thought i wouldn't try and feed him should i leave it to next feed or try tomorrow or the next day

I`ve fed most of mine at some stage during their shedding, generally the females. But now i dont feed any when i see them going through it. I find its best to just leave them be, plus it does them no harm at all to have a breather from food for the odd week or 2.
