Posted - 17/07/2011 : 15:29:55 hi im in the process of setting up a bigger viv for monty when he gets bigger. ive bought a sandplasted vine and was just wondering how people secure thease to the side of vivs.I can just wedge it against the corner but is there a better way of securing it incase the little guy fancies some climbing? |

Posted - 19/07/2011 : 08:43:56 Mine are just wrapped around his branch. I have different sizes wrapped around that and eachother so they support his weight when he's up there. |

Oh boy it's easier posting pics than explaining ...all you do is screw them into side of viv and secure them with thick string or a cable tie ...keep tie ends very short though just in case the snake decides to feed up there and gets anything caught in its mouth.
