Hi all Alfie my 3 year old normal has been acting like i have never seem before very active after 17.00 up and down the viv front trying to get through the overlap glass front i meen he is a big lad well his viv is on top of my boa male,And my other royal is on the other side of the room. Gave him his normal feed last week no not botherd left it can't be hunger then is it that time of year??PS it all seem to start last week when i came home with a ready cooked chick cooling of in the kitch ?????? thanks in advance.

my lot love the smell of cooked chicken too... perhaps we need to treat them to a sunday roast?!

I've heard of royals going frantic at the smell of chicken, but all snakes can go through these phases; I'm used to the switch between 'do I know you?' and 'want armchair walkies, Lil! Now! Or I'll break down the viv windows!'

However, it's coming up to autumn, isn't it? Perhaps your lad's beginning to think about the mating season ...Better think of getting him a wife??
