Posted - 10/09/2011 : 10:19:40 Hmmmmm, is puzzled. I weighed Oscar last week and he was 191gms. Now I did think that a 21gm increase in weight in a week was a lot, but what do I know.
Anyway, after his massive fart the other day, I discovered last night that he had actually pooed (in his hide!!!) so I thought, ah! empty..weigh him.
He was 175gms!!! So, has he lost loads or was the previous weight probably wrong and he's actually only put on 5gms in a couple of weeks, which seems more realistic, but then, as I've said...I don't know. |

Posted - 10/09/2011 : 14:03:23 Aww, know how you feel ...I weighed Surahi last week after she presented me with a bit of a mess and wee, and was delighted to discover she'd really piled the weight on - over 1500g! (I bought her last Nov, 1300g+ and, although 5, she's only started to eat rats recently, so I was really pleased.)
This morning, changing her water ...a smell. Inside a hide ...a LOG!
Put her on the scales again ...she's lost over 100g!
Oh well, she probably feels better after that ...better out than in, as the actress said to the bishop lol. |

Sacles are never 100% accurate either unless you spend mega money on them and regularly get them calibrated (I run a Post Office, my scales are tested weekly and do need calibrating every now and again and those scales cost £600). |

Best time to start recording weights is after a poo ;) |
