Well I've got the probes on the hot ;)

Hot glue gunned down and substrate around the probe with it sitting nicely so i can see it and they sit nicely on 90f

Now when the royals move the substrate So there's no substrate around the probe the temp goes down

Now I was told if they choose to switch between hot end cool end that's how it should be and they all do it
all eat find poo, shed and there all healthy

It just dawned on me tonight if that's right

Many thanks

Thanks bob I've just moved the substrate away from the temp probe and turned them up a little

Mmm I think I understand what your saying. Just raise the probe slightly so the substrate doesn't alter any readings. You should have a hot spot of 90f and an ambient of 80f. And yes they will switch ends to thermo regulate themselves.
