Well I tried for a second feeding on Sat after mymarvellous success last week, and it was a disaster! Put Oscar in his RUB, got ratty out of bag, Oscar must have smelt it and started to climb out. He had most of his body on the edge and was looking like he was about to strike so I put the rat but into the RUB. He turned and struck and fell into the RUB. When he uncoiled I saw that he didn't have the rat in his mouth at all. He sniffed it a few times then completely lost interest. Tried feeding him again tonight with no luck, just not interested. I don't really know what to try now, he struck at the rat on Sat so I thinking he must be hungry. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Leave it until next week, I think they get embarrassed whenb they miss, it can put them off. One week missed will do no harm at all.
