Its friday and i finally am going to pick up my first royal today shes 4 months old and has not of yet refused any food, so any info or tips to help her settle in will be grateful

I just wanted to keep getting my new royal out but yes the best thing is to let them settle first

thanks for the sock advice i will be giving that a go,well shes been in her small viv a good couple of hours now and shes checked all over and her hiding places she seems very active at the moment,even took time out to have a drink,when i picked her up i was told she refused her first feed yesterday,shall i leave it to next thursday to feed her or try earlier

Congrats! I bet you're excited!

Yes, I've used that tip of Chris's to help them settle in, and also I've draped a towel over their rub/viv front to create extra dimness at first for the retiring royal.

put a sock/cloth in you pocket for a few hours then put it in the viv
helps them get used to you sent, has worked well for me
