the mrs noticed the freezer door open today, alot of the stuff in there was well into defrost mode but not full!! according to her the rats were still hard?? do u think they will be ok to still feed my snakes?? i dunno if it risky or not

Yes, I once received a consignment of 'frozen' rodents ...when I opened the cardboard box, the polybox inside had had a real bash somewhere on the way and was shattered in places ...a bag of mice had gone soft at one side, for a start, although still very cold - I rushed the lot into the freezer and everything's been fine.

dont see any problems with that, there are a few folks i know that will refreeze rats that have been refused without any problems
