Poor damien didn't want his rat wiener tonight that 4 weeks now, he just seems more interested in getting out and being nosey!! I will leave the rat in there tonight with a towel over so we shall c but can't c it being eaten!!!! So so frustrating!!!! :-( maybe he keeps looking for a mate lol I no four weeks is nothing to worry about when comes to not eating I just worry cause last he ate was a mouse after already being fed rats for months cause it was what I had left over., feel like I have put him off rats for good!!! :-(

4 weeks is nothing. if clover doesn't eat tonight it will be 12 weeks without lol

It's that time of year when their appetite is on and off so don't worry about the fasting and restlessness - one of my males broke out and climbed up on one of the girls' vivs lol!

As for that mouse, I've had 3 mouse eaters go on to rats, so I reckon Damien won't be that hard to switch back to a rat after only one mousey meal. He'll get there!
